9/11: Health Problems

NEW YORK (CBS) ― When Islamic terrorists destroyed the World Trade Center, tons of burning debris littered Ground Zero. As many as seven out of every 10 rescue workers who were at the site are suffering from lung problems. Also in a CBS 2 Exclusive, documents suggest that federal and local governments knew of the health dangers of the 9/11 debris but reopened Lower Manhattan anyway.

Families of those murdered by Islamic terrorists on September 11 continue to rally, along with politicians, for government aid for the first responders.

Watch CBS coverage of the health problems from the 9/11 attacks, and the continued fight to get help for the emergency workers affected.
