Tickets On Sale For Access To Lady Liberty's Crown

NEW YORK (CBS) ― For the first time in years, tourists will be able to soak in New York's skyline from the Statue of Liberty.

Tickets to climb the crown went on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The statue officially re-opens on July 4.

It was closed following the September 11 terror attacks.

There are 168 steps to scale to reach the crown. For safety reasons, only 30 people per hour will be allowed at one time.

Tickets are $12 dollars for adults, $5 for children.
