Rob Morrison
Rob Morrison joined WCBS-TV in 2009 where he serves as co-anchor for the Saturday and Sunday morning newscasts alongside Mary Calvi. He also contributes reports during the week.
Morrison is a broadcast news veteran with 20 years of experience. For almost ten of those years, Morrison was a successful anchor and reporter at WNBC-TV. Morrison has anchored the Emmy Award winning morning show "Today in New York" and he also appeared regularly on NBC's Weekend Today and MSNBC.
Among his many assignments, Morrison reported from Iraq and Qatar during the Second Gulf War. He has traveled the world as a foreign correspondent, including assignments in Afghanistan and Haiti among other places. He was also embedded with the Marines during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan in 2001. Here in New York, Morrison was one of the first reporters on the scene on 9/11.
Morrison resides in Manhattan with his wife and son.
