The Blogosphere is a virtual community of millions of Web logs -- Web sites run by everyday people from around the world, posting their opinions on a litany of topics online. And it is a vibrant one, with bloggers of a great variety of backgrounds, educations, and specializations. It is within this community that college professors and soldiers, musicians and engineers, teachers and journalists, and others meet and discuss political news every day. RWN: "First off, 'everyone' didn't guess wrong on the stimulus. Only 3 Republicans total (2 now that Arlen Specter has switched parties) in all of Congress voted for the stimulus package. The biggest reason why Republicans didn't support the stimulus was because of the cost: more than $1.2 billion dollars plus. However, many people, myself included, noted that the stimulus wouldn't actually stimulate the economy. For example on Feb 10, three days before the stimulus package passed, I had a column out called, 'The Top Six Problems With the Stimulus.'

Hot Air: "Erick Erickson has kept Red State readers abreast of the battle over a $100 billion proposal to bail out the IMF. The vote on this package got pushed into this week, and the unrest in Iran has given the debate a lot more relevance than just an economic policy."

Crooks And Liars: "Vice President Joe Biden told NBC's David Gregory that he questioned former Vice President Dick Cheney's judgement for criticizing President Barack Obama policies on national security. Biden seemed to pull his punches when asked about Cheney's motives. 'Never question another man's motive', warned Biden."
