UpdatedNew York City is revamping its controversial new 9-1-1 dispatching system after two deadly fires raised concern about your safety. Effective Friday the entire program is changing. The city's new fire dispatch system has been beset with problems since it went on line May 9, but it took a fatal fire in Brooklyn and a CBS 2 HD investigation to get action.
