At Least 33 Injured In Lincoln Tunnel Bus Accident
2 N.J. Transit Buses Collide In Tunnel; Inbound South Tube Closed
NEW YORK (CBS) ―
An accident involving two New Jersey Transit buses in the Lincoln Tunnel has caused at least 33 injuries, CBS 2 HD has learned.
According to NJ Transit officials, bus #160 out of Hackensack rear-ended bus #113 out of Dunellan as they both made their way inbound to the Port Authority.
The accident occurred around 9:30 a.m. Monday morning. All injuries are non-life threatening.
The inbound south tube of the tunnel is closed. All traffic is being diverted to the center tube.
