Phelps Shatters 200 Free Record, Takes 3rd Gold

Michael Phelps captured his third gold medal of the Beijing Games on Tuesday, shattering the world record in the 200 freestyle.
Phelps' time of 1:42.96 was nearly one second faster than the previous record.
The medal was the ninth gold and 11th overall of Phelps' incredible career, tying him with Matt Biondi for the all-time lead.
