Power for the AirTrain at Newark Liberty International Airport has been restored after a partial outage interrupted service shortly after 1 p.m. on Thursday.
Service has resumed after the outage brought to a halt a train running between Terminal A and Terminal B, which transport travelers from a parking lot to the airport.
All other parts of the train remained in service at the time of the interruption.
Chopper 2 HD was live at the scene, while customers once traveling on the train were seen walking on the tracks towards a nearby station. Buses were provided to transport the once stranded passengers.
