Obamas Plan To Attend 10 Inaugural Balls

WASHINGTON (AP) ― They'll be doing a lot of dancing.

Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, are planning to visit 10 official inaugural balls on Jan. 20. That's the same number Ronald Reagan had in 1985, and less than the record 14 for Bill Clinton in 1997. But it's one more than George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, attended in 2005.

The Presidential Inaugural committee announced the plans today.

There's still no word on what Michelle Obama will be wearing, or on which musical groups will perform. And the committee isn't saying if the Obamas will be bringing their young daughters with them.
