More and more brides are getting Botox injections in advance of their big day. They are also insisting, in some cases, that members of their bridal party get the procedure done as well.

As the fall wedding season gets underway, there's a new trend changing the face of primping for the big day. It's Botox.
And as CBS 2 HD has learned it has some bridesmaids getting more than they bargained for.
Jeanne An is planning her perfect wedding.
"We're having cupcakes and videogames," the 33-year-old said. "And there will be a karaoke corner."
But when it comes to the wedding pictures, she's not playing around. An wants to make sure she and her only bridesmaid, her 36-year-old sister Gui-Hyun, look as perfect as possible.
"It's my one wedding -- we're going to have a photographer come in and take pictures that will last forever," An said.
So before the big day she had one little request for her sister: Botox.
"It's just another thing for us to do together, just like going out for a bachelorette party," An said.
Cosmetic dermatologist Howard Brooks said it's the latest request brides are making of their attendants.
"I had patients ask me, 'Can I bring my bridal party in?'" Dr. Brooks said. "I want them to have their lips done. I want their laugh lines filled in."
Statistics show the number of bridal party makeovers jumped 25 percent over the past two years.
Celebrity wedding planner Samantha Goldberg has seen it all in the quest of "the perfect day." It works if the whole party is on the same page, but these dream days can quickly turn into disasters.
"People have been 'blackballed' or asked to step down from the throne by not participating in the Botox or breast enhancements," Goldberg said.
Brooks said too much pressure on brides to have a 'Hollywood wedding" can lead to damaged relationships.
"If that patient or that bridesmaid does not want that procedure done or they don't need that procedure, I have to relate that to the patient and in turn tell the bride as well," Brooks said.
An's sister said she's more than willing and is excited to bond with her sister over Botox.
And grooms watch out. Doctors say another trend they're seeing is brides who want their fiancés to go for a little Botox or chemical peel, too.
