"American Idol" winner Jordin Sparks canceled three concerts over the weekend including an appearance last week on the "Live with Regis and Kelly show."
The Bryce Jordan Center in University Park, issued a statement after Sparks canceled her Sunday performance there stating that Sparks' doctor has said she can not perform due to an acute vocal cord hemorrhage which presents the risk of permanent vocal cord damage.
Sparks won the sixth season of "American Idol" at the age of 17 making her the youngest winner in the show's history.
