No Booze for Kristin Davis, Britney Back in Studio

By TARA LIPINSKY, WCBSTV.COM
NEW YORK (AP) ― Britney's Working On a Comeback

There's another sign Britney Spears is getting her life back on track.

The pop star is reportedly back working in a recording studio, putting together a new album.  Spears' producers tell "People Magazine" she is trying out a new musical direction, and she really missed singing.

No Cosmos for Kristin

Kristin Davis' "Sex and the City" character Charlotte is known to down cosmopolitans, But in real-life, the actress says no to booze and even admits she's a recovering alcoholic.

Davis, 43, recently told "Health Magazine" she has been sober for 18 years, and is glad she stopped drinking before she became famous.

So when fans send over a "Cosmo" to her table, Davis says thanks, and leaves the drink alone.

"Sex and the City: The Movie" hits theaters next Friday, May 30.

Rocker Steven Tyler is apparently "Living On The Edge" again.

The Aerosmith vocalist, 60, has checked himself into a Los Angeles rehab facility.

During the 1970's, Tyler, along with guitarist Joe Perry, were known as "The Toxic Twins" for their decadent behavior.

Tyler has spent the past 20 years as a passionate advocate for sobriety.  There's no word yet on what he's being treated for.
