Donald Trump says Michael Jackson was the greatest talent he's ever seen.
The mogul says the singer was a real friend whom he last saw about six months ago.
Trump says he knew one of the great dancers of the world at Lincoln Center and the dancer told him "we cannot perfect the moonwalk."
Trump says Jackson had a terrible 10 years of trouble and in a certain way, he's better off because people are buying his albums and his "debt will be gone in a week."
Trump spoke during media day Friday for an upcoming U.S. Golf Association tournament at his golf club in Bedminster.
Trump's net worth is said to be approximately $1.6 billion.
