Travalena, 'Man Of A Thousand Voices,' Dies At 66

Impressionist Fred Travalena, a headliner in Vegas showrooms and a regular on late-night talk shows with his takes on presidents, crooners and screen stars, has died in Los Angeles. He was 66.
Publicist Roger Neal said Travalena, a Bronx native, died Sunday at his home in the Encino area after a recurrence of the non-Hodgkin's lymphoma that first surfaced in 2002.
Travalena was known for the sheer volume of celebrities he imitated, leading to the nicknames "The Man of a Thousand Voices" and "Mr. Everybody."
His act included presidents from Kennedy to Obama, musicians from Frank Sinatra to Bruce Springsteen and actors from Marlon Brando to Tom Cruise.
In a side of the entertainer not seen by most of his fans, Travalena maintained a politics- and current events-oriented blog on his Web site, which he called "Off My Chest." Its final entry, dated May 6, 2009, featured a rambling diatribe about the state of government and the economy.
The problem remains the same the power elite dont care what you think. They throw the chips and everybody wants in the game. Money is President. No matter what Americns do it willnever work out in their favor. If you save they destroy the power of it. Pay your bills on time you get penalized becasue you do pay your bills on time. Playthe debt against the profit. Inflation deflation no gold standard. Americans are like the lobster that gets slowly boiled and does not realize it. The evidence is all over the world lies stealing graft theft beyond grasping. So if you say its the Republicans Fault your right if you say its the Democrats fault your right..its the Conservatives fault your right its the liberal fault your right..bottom line America is a goverment run by spirituality and no on either knows this is so or if they do they stand to gain from belef in it how sad for our founding fathers and for us.
Travalena started his career in Las Vegas in 1971.
