NEW YORK (AP) ―

Rapper Vanilla Ice in Cooler:

Vanilla Ice was held without bond Friday following his arrest on a charge of simple domestic battery after an alleged argument with his wife at their South Florida home.

The 39-year-old rapper's wife called the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office on Thursday night, saying he had kicked and hit her. She later told deputies he had only pushed her, the arrest report said.

The report said Vanilla Ice denied pushing her.

It wasn't immediately known if he had an attorney. His agent, Tommy Quon, said he hadn't heard about the arrest and couldn't comment.

Vanilla Ice spent a night in jail in 2001 after being arrested following a domestic dispute.

He sold 15 million copies of the single "Ice Ice Baby" in 1990.

Just Say No to Britney:

Nothing against Britney Spears personally, but Neil Patrick Harris thinks she and any other big stars brought in to spike ratings, should be banned from "How I Met Your Mother."

He's afraid stunt casting could ruin the show.

Harris says he doesn't want his show to turn into "Will and Grace" with its constant big-name guest stars.

No matter what Harris thinks, there's talk Spears could return to the show.

After all, more people in the 18-49 age bracket tuned in to "How I Met Your Mother" when Spears was on March 24th than had ever watched the show.

Clooney Clothing Hoax:

Two people are being investigated for alleged fraud after attempting to launch a fashion line with a brand using George Clooney's name, police in Milan said Thursday.

Tax police said they seized garments and watches Wednesday, as well as fake documentation. The ANSA news agency said the line was to be launched in Milan next week.

Police said the probe stemmed from a complaint filed by the actor.

"If someone tries to sell you clothes or watches that are based on me, don't buy them," Clooney, 46, told reporters Wednesday in Rome, where he was promoting his new film, "Leatherheads."

Clooney also added, "I don't know who he is, but he's a nut.
