It was looking like it would be a clean and quick break, but new details suggest the split between Madonna and Guy Ritchie will be anything but that.
As Madonna keeps singing, the mud is slinging. New details of abuse, both physical and verbal, between her and Guy Ritchie, according to Us Weekly Magazine.
"Multiple sources have told us that they have these heated arguments where he would say, 'You're old, fat, wrinkled and ugly,' and she would go back saying, 'I wish I had married someone who was stronger,'" says Jill Martin, Us Weekly Contributor.
According to the magazine, arguments between the material girl and the British director escalated beyond name-calling.
"Sometimes their relationship and arguments were so heated that she would sometimes slap and poke him," Martin says.
Tabloids on either side of the pond have been full of reports that Madonna and Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez share more than Kabbalah. Now reports say Ritchie is dating one of the actresses his new film, "Sherlock Holmes." Ritchie was reportedly staying in the same London hotel where actress Kelly Reilly is living.
"We're reporting that he has actually been seen at lunch with her and outside of work. Someone actually saw her touching his arm, acting very intimately," Martin says.
As heated as their fights may have been, so will their divorce. The couple has three children and millions to divide up.
