Brett Favre's career with the New York Jets and in the National Football League is over, at least for now. The future Hall of Famer told the team Wednesday morning of his decision to retire rather than return for a 19th season in the league, and second with the Jets. "We had a great conversation today and he said he was done playing and we're taking him on his word for that," general manager Mike Tannenbaum said.
