Five New York City street vendors will face off in an intense cook-off for the best street chef Vendy Award.

The event is being held Saturday at the Tobacco Warehouse under the Brooklyn Bridge.

The chefs are:

In midtown Manhattan, former Russian Tea Room chef Mohammed Rahman serves a mean falafel and Meru Sikder offers spicy Indian biriyani.

Fauzia Abdur-Rahman's Heavenly Delights in the Bronx is all about Jamaican fusion food, while California brothers Jesse, Brian and Dave Vendley's cart in SoHo delights with Tex Mex marinated grilled hanger steak.

The awards are given out by the Urban Justice Center's Street Vendor Project.
