Calvin Pace has set the tone for the New York Jets' game against Miami with some disparaging comments about the Dolphins after their matchup a few weeks ago.
The linebacker was frustrated after the 31-27 loss when he called Miami's wildcat formation "nonsense" and "gimmicky," and also said Dolphins quarterback Chad Henne was a "clown quarterback."
Pace says Friday he meant what he said, but also respects how Miami embarrassed New York's defense on the field. He gets a chance this Sunday to return the favor when the Jets host the Dolphins at the Meadowlands.
Pace is coming off a terrific game against Oakland in which he had three sacks, caused two fumbles and set the tone in a 38-0 victory.
