NYC Puts All Hands On Deck For Snowstorm Prep

New York City is taking no chances. Nor are they waiting to find out what Mother Nature has in store. The city says its 2,000 plows and 365 salt spreaders are ready for the large snowstorm that's barreling towards the tri-state. At the Home Depot in Chelsea, the $32 snow shovels were being grabbed up. Management knows this is the way New Yorkers react to word of a pending snow storm. "New Yorkers wait until the last minute. Hopefully they'll get in here and get the shovels," said Home Depot Assistant Manager Joe Hickey.
