Atlantic City's new hotel has five swimming pools, a spa in the sky and an $18,000-a-week floral budget.
The Water Club is a new boutique hotel next to the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. The grand opening was today even though guests started checking in weeks ago.
It's designed to cater to pampered vacationers looking for luxury without caring how the dice roll or the cards unfold. The idea is to attract a young, hipper, and above all richer crowd to Atlantic City.
Rooms run from $299 to $499 a night during the week, and $500 to $700 a night on weekends.
The 43-story hotel is the first in what could be a long series of non-gambling luxury resorts in Atlantic City.
