Police have arrested a teenager who allegedly shot and killed a man in the Bronx, after the two were involved in a car accident.
What began as a fender bender between an Acura and a Buick and ended with the death of 25-year-old Adolfo Gonzalez at about 5 a.m. Saturday.
"It's a shame," said Kristina Cekaj. "You're afraid to drive in your own car. People [can] come and shoot you."
After the accident, police say Carlos had an argument with 19-year-old Antoine Lewis, who left the scene of the accident, but returned soon after and shot Gonzales twice in the torso.
"[Adolfo] was just everybody's friend, he didn't get into everybody's business," the victim's friend Migdalia Mata said.
Friends of the victim are shocked by what happened. They say he wasn't a violent person and didn't start fights.
"He wasn't a trouble maker, "added Mata.
Lewis drove a couple blocks, but then ditched the car and hopped into a livery cab but jumped out without paying, according to Satawant Singh, a gas station attendant who spoke to the cab driver.
Sources tell CBS 2 HD a gun was found in the cab. Lewis is charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter, and possession of a weapon.
