Police Investigate Drive By Shooting On L.I.
NORTH AMITYVILLE, N.Y. (AP) ―
Police are investigating a drive by shooting on Long Island that left a 21-year-old man seriously injured.
Suffolk County Police say Brandon Lee was standing at the corner of Somerset Road and Avon Drive in North Amityville about 5:45 p.m. yesterday when a car drove by and a man inside the vehicle opened fire on him.
An ambulance took Lee to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center where he underwent surgery on his leg. Police say Lee is in serious condition.
Anyone with information on the drive by shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
