Airlines will try to get back on track this morning, after hundreds of flights were delayed or canceled by yesterday's storm.
At LaGuardia Airport, ground crews de-iced airplanes while passengers waited, trying to be patient as they heard about delay after delay for their already delayed flights.
More than 200 flights were canceled at LaGuardia and Newark Liberty airports, and 100 at JFK on Thursday, leaving many stranded. Many slept on blankets in hallways.
With a nor'easter headed this way over the weekend, several major airlines - JetBlue, Delta and Continental said they will waive change fees and fare differences to help passengers affected by the bad weather from now until next Tuesday. Other airlines are expected to follow suit.
Airlines are now particularly sensitive to bad weather scenarios, after their handling of snow storms last winter - when thousands of passengers were trapped aboard planes at JFK and other airports for hours.
