CBS 2 Seeking Patients Of Dr. Ben D. Ramelay
NEW YORK (CBS) ―
A prominent Greenwich fertility doctor was accused of substituting his own sperm instead of that of his patient's husband during a 2002 artificial insemination procedure. Dr. Ben D. Ramelay was eventually fined $10,000 and has since been allowed to continue practicing only after admitting he used "the wrong man's sperm," according to an article from the Greenwich Times.
CBS 2 is seeking out anyone who has been a patient of Dr. Ramelay's in the past. Dr. Ramaley practices at Southport Women's Healthcare in Fairfield, Conn. and co-founded Brookside Greenwich Ob-Gyn Associates in Greenwich.
If you are or have been a patient at either of his clinics and would be willing to talk to CBS 2, please contact us by
