School Evacuated After Gas Leak In Bronx
NEW YORK (CBS) ―
A gas leak in the Morris Heights section of the Bronx has led to the evacuation of several buildings and a school, CBS 2 has learned.
The leak began around 10:45 on Wednesday morning near 108 W. 174th St., where PS-204 is located. Officials say about 300 students were evacuated from the school.
Some adjoining buildings on Nelson Avenue were also evacuated.
Officials from Con Ed were on the scene working to fix the problem.
