Bronx Shooting Kills 1, Injures Teen Boy
BRONX (CBS) ―
A 20-year-old man was shot and killed and a 13-year-old boy remains in the hospital after shots were fired late Tuesday evening in the Bronx.
The shooting occurred around 11:30 p.m. in front of 730 E. 165th Street.
Police arrived to the scene after reports of several gunshots going off in the neighborhood.
Elido Dickson was on his way home when he heard shots being fired.
"I'm on my way home and I hear a boom, boom, boom. It's not a common thing, but we're used to being careful," Dickson told CBS 2's Deborah Garcia.
The motive of the shooting is unknown. Police are conducting an intensive investigation.
The 13-year-old boy is in stable condition after being shot in the arm and thigh.
