Bronx Shooting Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Wounded

BRONX (AP) ― One man has been shot to death and a second man has been wounded in the Bronx. The shooting happened just after 4 a.m. Saturday in an apartment on Story Avenue in the Soundview section.

Police said the first victim, a 43-year-old man, was shot once in the head and once in the chest. He was pronounced dead at Jacobi Medical Center.

The second man, 37 years old, was shot in the arm. He is in stable condition at Jacobi.

The victims' names were not released.

The investigation is ongoing.
