The Bronx Zoo is introducing the newest member of its family: the first lion cub born at the zoo in three decades.
Little "Moxie" is living up to her name and has already earned a reputation as a scene-stealer. She playfully jumped on of her parents during her first public viewing Wednesday, running around giving onlookers an energetic show.
Moxie was born on November 6 becoming the first lion born there in 31 years but the zoo waited for warmer weather to debut the warm cub. Her parents were part of the zoo's breeding program.
The cub weighed 3 pounds at birth and zookeepers say Moxie could grow to 350 pounds.
