2 Wounded In Brooklyn Police-Involved Shooting
NEW YORK (CBS) ―
Authorities say New York police officers have shot a gunman on a Brooklyn street.
Police say officers observed a 28-year-old man driving a vehicle and shooting a firearm near the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood. They say one of the shots hit a 32-year-old woman in the calf.
Police say officers followed the shooter, who drove up onto a sidewalk and exited the vehicle. Officers fired on the man, striking him in the hip.
Both people were brought to the hospital in stable condition.
Police did not release the names of the two people who were shot. They say the investigation is ongoing.
