It wasn't quite the vacation they planned.
Travelers on a Caribbean cruise returned to New York City on Saturday having spent most of the week trying to avoid Tropical Storm Hanna.
The Carnival cruise left Aug. 29 with an itinerary that was supposed to include Puerto Rico and St. Thomas. Instead, the ship's stops included Florida, the Bahamas and Rhode Island.
Some passengers were outraged and protested. A spokeswoman for Carnival said the irate passengers were in the minority, and said she believed travelers had been warned upon arrival that weather could have an impact.
