9-Year-Old Struck And Killed By RV In Queens
Accident Vehicle Used By Campaign For Man Running For Political Office In 32nd City Council District

QUEENS (CBS) ―
There was a deadly accident in Queens on Tuesday afternoon. A 9-year-old boy was struck and killed by an RV in Ozone Park.
The child was crossing at the intersection of Cross Bay Boulevard and Liberty Avenue when he was struck.
"He almost made it to the sidewalk," witness Raymond Sierra said. "He was running trying to make the light. The RV tried to make it to the light and hit the kid."
The RV involved in the crash is a campaign vehicle for Mike Ricatto, who's running in a special election in the 32nd City Council district.
The driver was not charged.
