Just hours after being sworn in to office, it was revealed that Gov. David Paterson and his wife, Michelle, had extramarital affairs during a "sour point" in their marriage.
Paterson was sworn in almost exactly a week after allegations first surfaced that former Gov. Eliot Spitzer was "Client 9" of a high-priced call girl service. Responding to rumors circulating in Albany, Paterson and his wife told the Daily News that both had affairs in 1999.
Some say they're bothered by the shocking revelation and some say they're not bothered because the Patersons came clean and explained the circumstances of the situation.
