Reward Offered For Info On Decapitated Goat On LI
ISLIP, N.Y. (CBS) ―
SPCA officials in Suffolk County are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of suspects behind a goat beheading in Islip.
Roy Gross, Chief of the Suffolk SPCA, said the mutilated body of a goat was found on Oct. 24 about 100 feet into the woods along Brook Street. The goat had been decapitated and placed in a plastic trash bag.
Gross said other evidence was found at the scene, but he declined to explain the nature of that evidence.
Anyone with information regarding the killing is asked to call the Suffolk County SPCA at 631-382-7722. Calls will remain confidential.
