Middletown Police Arrest Teens On Prom Bus

Charge 23 With Underage Drinking

MIDDLETOWN, N.J. (AP) ― Police charged 23 teens on a bus with underage possession of alcohol at the Middletown High School South prom.

Nine of the teens were under 18.

Police say the bus driver called them after saying he had smelled marijuana on the bus Friday night. A search uncovered alcohol.

Students found to have been under the influence of alcohol will face suspension.
