This is what's left of an Acura driving east bound on the Grand Central Parkway Service Road at the intersection of 69th Road after a devastating collision took the life of two drivers and injured a third.

CBS 2's Jay Dow was live at a scene Tuesday morning that he called "mangled," and "devastating." At least 2 people are dead after a serious car accident in Forest Hills on the east bound Grand Central Parkway service road involving two cars.
Emergency service crews responded to 69th Road just after 6 a.m. Two people were pronounced dead on the scene, while a third passenger is in very critical condition.
Chopper 2 HD was hovering above the horrific accident scene. One of the two cars involved in the crash, an acura, carrying a man and a woman, was split in half, and mangled debris scattered all over the road. The passengers in the Acura were killed immediately, an EMS official said.
The car that struck the Acura was a black Mercedes-Benz. The driver of the vehicle was transported to Bellevue Hospital.
