The NYPD is searching for a man suspected of attacked a food delivery man with a knife, leaving him in critical condition.
Shortly before 10 p.m. Monday, a man delivering Japanese food was stabbed in the chest, back and leg on Avenue W and East 17th Street.
There were several calls to 911 and an eyewitness said the suspect fled the scene, running along East 16th towards Avenue X.

The victim was not physically able to convey any information to the authorities. He is 26-years-old and in extremely critical condition.
The car had Illinois license plates and police at this point don't know if the victim and the suspect knew each other.
