Boston police believe a little girl who was allegedly abducted by her father Sunday afternoon is now in New York, according to CBS 2's sister station,
WBZ-TV.
An Amber Alert issued Sunday was lifted in Massachusetts Monday morning and police have now issued a Missing Child Alert in New York state now that they believe the girl has been taken there.
Sunday's alert was issued shortly after Reigh Rockefeller, 7, was taken by her father at 12:44 p.m. in the Back Bay. The girl was walking with her father and a social worker during a supervised custodial visit when Clark Rockefeller allegedly knocked down the social worker and took off with his daughter in an SUV driven by another person.
A backpack and a doll were left behind.
Police said they may be traveling in a black Chevy Tahoe or a GMC Yukon with a Red Sox license plate and several Red Sox stickers on the rear window. A boat owned by Clark Rockefeller is also missing from Rowe's Wharf.
Authorities are not releasing any other details about the investigation or the Rockefellers.
Reigh is white with blond hair and blue eyes. She is about 4-feet-tall and weighs 50 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink and white sun dress, with red shoes and glasses.
Clark Rockefeller is white, in his 50's, 5-foot-6 inches tall, and about 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing khaki pants and a blue Izod shirt.
If you see them, or the SUV, contact police immediately.
Clark Rockefeller has a warrant out for his arrest for custodial kidnapping, assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
State Police issue an Amber Alert when they believe a child is in imminent danger.
