Track Problem Slows NJ Transit Trains
TRENTON (CBS) ―
Some NJ Transit rail riders are facing delays on their early Tuesday morning commute, CBS 2 HD has learned.
Spokesman Dan Stessel says trains must reduce speed because of a track defect on the portal bridge over the Hackensack River.
There are delays into New York City on Northeast Corridor, Midtown Direct and North Jersey Coast Line trains.
Initially, Amtrak had stopped trains from traveling over the bad track.
