NYPD Releases Sketch Of S.I. Sex Assault Suspect

STATEN ISLAND (CBS) ― Police on Staten Island are on the hunt for a man who may be responsible for at least two brazen attacks in the New Springville section.

The NYPD said the suspect grabbed a 25-year-old woman, threw her to the ground, and choked her.

Fortunately, the intended victim fought back against her assailant, and escaped. 

Investigators released a sketch of the suspect.

They believe the man may also be responsible for a sexual assault at a bus stop in February.
