Search Resumes Monday For Missing NJ Woman
ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. (CBS) ―
Crews will return to an area of the Passaic River on Monday to resume the search for a missing northern New Jersey mother.
The 44-year-old Waldwick woman, whose name has not been disclosed, was reported missing Thursday by her husband. Her unlocked minivan -- with her purse, keys and other personal items still inside -- was found later that day at a marina in the Bergen County community of Elmwood Park.
Divers and rescue crews then searched the river for several hours on both Thursday and Friday before the search was suspended for the weekend.
Authorities have refused to say whether they believe the woman, who has three children, was still alive or provide further details on her disappearance.
As of the last census, Waldwick had a population of at least 9,622.
