Food Deliverymen Robbed On Long Island
WYANDANCH, N.Y. (CBS) ―
Police on Long Island are investigating two separate attacks in which Chinese food deliverymen were robbed and beaten.
The first incident happened Friday night in Wyandanch. The deliveryman was beaten with sticks by four attackers who stole his cell phone and cash.
The second attack occurred Saturday night in West Babylon when a food deliveryman was set upon by three men who kicked and beat him. They got away with his cash and food.
Suffolk County police are trying to determine whether the two robberies are connected.
As of the last census, Wyandanch had a population of at least 10,546.
