Bounty Of Weapons Found Inside Queens Home

NEW YORK (CBS) ― A man who was reported to police for carrying a firearm in his possession led investigators to a bounty of weaponry inside his home.

When police received a tip that 36-year-old Queens resident Suwei Chang may have had a gun on him, they brought two search warrants to his home at 135-11 40th Rd. and made a startling discovery.

After scouring his apartment and his car, investigators recovered:

  • Fully loaded AR-15 assault rifle with scope
  • Fabrigue nationale PS-90 5.7 caliber automatic machine gun
  • 12 gauge shotgun
  • 9 mm glock pistol
  • 50 caliber rifle
  • 22 caliber rifle
  • 4 air rifles
  • 20,000 rounds of assorted ammunition
  • 40 large combat knives
  • 4 body armor bullet-resistant vests
  • 6 Motorola police-type radios

Police arrested Chang around 11 p.m. on Wednesday night and charged him with criminal possession of a weapon.
