Police continue their search for a sex assault suspect in Borough Park, who is believed to be linked to two assaults of teen girls.

Police in Brooklyn say two sexual assaults, which took place a year apart, are not only connected but were committed by the same person.
This development has put the community of Borough Park on edge.
The most recent attack happened early enough in the evening that there was still some light outside, and people were still walking the streets. The hope is that someone saw something, enough to give police a solid lead.
In Borough Park, where large, friendly families are nurtured in close-knit neighborhoods, news of a 14-year-old girl who was sexually assaulted has rattled parents and grandparents like Mira Katz.
"We hope to catch him, and that he gets his punishment," Katz said.
Police say the 14-year-old was attacked on the evening of August 3, near the intersection of 12th Avenue and 41st Street. A male suspect pulled up behind the 14-year-old in a black, four-door sedan with tinted windows, grabbed her, and drove off.
Police say the teen was sexually assaulted for three hours in a secluded location, and then dropped off several blocks away.
Even more unsettling, police believe the suspect is responsible for another sexual assault committed last year, against a 4-year-old who was snatched right off her front stoop last July.
"We usually let our kids play outside while we're in the front, so it brings a lot of concerns," Borough Park resident Melissa Carbonell said.
The 4-year-old was taken from her home near the intersection of 19th Street and 19th Avenue.
"I view it as a safe neighborhood, and it's a scary thought," resident Agatha Stelatto said.
There's a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.
If you have any information, call the Crimestoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
