Boy, 3, Dies In Staten Island Fire, But Others OK

NEW YORK (AP) ― A 3-year-old boy has died in a New York City house fire.

Police say the boy was taken from the two-story Staten Island home and was declared dead at a hospital.

The fire department says three other people escaped from the blaze Thursday with minor injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
