At least one man is dead after being trapped in a hole at a construction site in the Bronx, CBS 2 has learned.

The man, unconscious once removed, was reportedly working at the site before falling into the 10-foot hole. The incident occurred on Hughes Avenue and E. 179th Street in the East Tremont section. Sources tell CBS 2 the construction worker was hit by a back-hoe, causing his fall into the hole.
