The Victoria's Secret angels finally landed on Earth Tuesday night for their hotly anticipated fashion show.
But before they donned their wings CBS 2 HD was backstage as the models prepped for the runway.
The action backstage is like a show before the show.
Armed with curling irons and makeup brushes, a beauty SWAT team readies these angels for the runway.
"Now I'm starting to feel the nervous butterflies coming in," Doutzen Droes said.
There was plenty of press, with Heidi Klum in the center of the swirl, and head-to-toe primping for all.
For models to look like this, no matter how seemingly perfect they are, it takes a lot of work.
Selita Ebanks has walked in this show for the past five years.
"It usually starts two or three months before. I try to get in two to four hours a day six days a week at the gym. I detox. I cleanse. I exfoliate. I nip. I tuck. I pluck. I do everything. It's insane," Ebanks said.
Chanel Iman is a new addition to this heavenly lineup. She's celebrating her 19th birthday as an angel on this runway.
"I been looking forward to doing this show for so long and now is the day," Iman said.
But as a newcomer, she still has to earn her wings.
"I'm not wearing the wings, but I'm gonna work it out there, like I have a pair of wings on," Iman said.
And talk about working it -- a highlight of the night had Marisa Miller literally sparkling in a 150-carat, $3 million bra.
"It's over the top. It's gorgeous. You feel like a princess and on the runway it sparkles even more. It's my favorite outfit, for sure," Miller said.
