The JetBlue terminal at New York City's John F. Kennedy International Airport has reopened after being evacuated, reported CBS' Early Show producer Aaron Lewis.
Transportation Security Administration spokesman Chris White said some inert grenades were found.
The incident comes as New York gears up to host the United Nations General Assembly this week.
The assembly requires intense security efforts as leaders from across the globe gather in New York.
