Safety Concerns Prompt Stroller, Toy Recalls

Both products were made in China

WASHINGTON (AP) ―

More toys are being recalled because of safety hazards.

The latest recalls include 21,000 Mini Zooper Doll Strollers from Lan Enterprises of Portland, Oregon, and 80,000 X-15 Flying Model Rockets from Estes-Cox of Penrose, Colorado.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the stroller has caused at least three serious lacerations, including a severed fingertip on a 2-year-old boy. It also poses an entrapment hazard.

With the model rocket, the nose cone can separate without the parachute deploying and could hit someone on the ground.

Both products were made in China.
