Brett Prescott Named Director Of Digital Sales
NEW YORK (CBS) ―
Brett Prescott has been named Director of Digital Sales for WCBS-TV, effective April 16. The announcement was made today by Peter Dunn, President and General Manager, WCBS-TV.
In this newly created position, Prescott will develop online marketing campaigns from interactive agencies above and beyond traditional banner and pre-roll video offerings and will work closely with the WCBS-TV sales team to create cross platform campaigns that will engage their target audience on air, online and soon on the mobile front. Prescott will also focus on developing strategic ways to allow WCBS-TV's clients to benefit from reaching a web savvy audience.
Prescott comes to WCBS-TV after spending four years at Clear Channel Communication's Z100 (WHTZ-FM). During his tenure, he was ranked the number one Account Executive for Clear Channel New York Radio Metrics. He also established more than $2.4 million of new business and developed integrated marketing campaigns for clients both direct, through their agency as well as interactive shops. He was successful in developing cross platform national online marketing campaigns reaching over 300 station web-sites and 10 million traditional listeners.
Prior to Clear Channel, Prescott worked at various marketing and online companies including: EGC Media Group, Cartoon Network, Greekyearbook.com and president and founder of College Connection Marketing. A graduate of the University of Maryland, Prescott holds a B.S in finance and a B.A. in economics. He actively supports the St. Jude Young Professionals Organization and Make a Wish Foundation and currently resides in Manhattan.
